Welcome to the Burger Kingdom Family! This document serves as the official guide for all staff members, outlining the expectations, rules, and procedures that ensure we deliver the best experience to our customers and maintain a positive, professional environment for everyone.

Whether you’re a new hire or a seasoned team member, this code of conduct is your roadmap to success at Burger Kingdom. Let’s work together to keep our kingdom thriving!


1. Purpose of This Document

This document is designed to:

  • Set clear expectations for staff behavior and professionalism.

  • Provide guidelines for handling disciplinary matters.

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of staff and customers.

  • Maintain the integrity and reputation of Burger Kingdom.

This document is publicly available for transparency but is specifically enforced for all Burger Kingdom staff members.


2. Core Values

3. Professionalism Expectations

As a representative of Burger Kingdom, you are expected to:

  • On Shift:

    • Follow instructions from management at all times.

    • Wear the correct uniform and maintain a clean, professional appearance.

    • Use clear and respectful communication with customers and colleagues.

    • Treat everyone with equality, respect, and kindness.

    • Report any issues or hazards to management immediately.

  • On Discord or Other Platforms:

    • Avoid sharing confidential information outside authorized channels.

    • Refrain from arguing publicly or engaging in negative behavior.

    • Follow all platform rules and guidelines.


4. Disciplinary Process

If a staff member violates the code of conduct, the following steps will be taken:

4.1. Investigation

  • Complaints will be reviewed by the Staffing Manager and Internal Affairs Team.

  • Evidence will be gathered, including witness statements and relevant documentation.

  • The staff member in question will be placed on temporary leave during the investigation.

4.2. Disciplinary Actions

Depending on the severity of the violation, one or more of the following actions may be taken:

  1. Informal Warning: A verbal reminder for minor issues.

  2. Formal Warning: A written notice for more serious violations.

  3. Suspension: Temporary removal from duties (1 day to 1 month).

  4. Demotion: Reassignment to a lower role if performance standards are not met.

  5. Termination: Permanent removal from the team for severe or repeated violations.

4.3. Appeals Process

If you believe a disciplinary action was unjust, you may submit an appeal:

  • Senior Management: Appeal directly to the Executive Team.

  • Other Staff: Submit a ticket through our Discord Support System.


5. Health & Safety

Your safety and the safety of our customers are our top priorities. Staff members must:

  • Report any hazards (e.g., spills, broken equipment) immediately.

  • Follow all safety protocols during emergencies, including fire evacuations.

  • Assist customers and colleagues in staying safe at all times.


6. Uniform Policy

All staff members must adhere to the following uniform guidelines:

  • Wear the assigned uniform for your role.

  • Avoid unrealistic or inappropriate accessories.

  • Ensure your appearance is neat and professional at all times.

If you’re unsure about your attire, check with a member of the management team for approval.


7. Activity Requirements

  • General Staff: No strict quota, but active participation is encouraged.

  • Management: Complete a minimum of 4 shifts and training sessions per week.

  • Leave of Absence (LOA): If you cannot work for a period, submit an LOA request via our discord bot.


8. Confidentiality Agreement

As a staff member, you may have access to confidential information, including:

  • Internal documents and policies.

  • Staff codes and procedures.

  • Private communications within authorized channels.

Sharing this information without authorization is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.


9. Transfers & Resignations

  • Transfers: To move to another department, speak with the Staffing Manager for approval.

  • Resignations: Provide a 24-hour notice. If you change your mind, you must notify the Staffing Manager within 24 hours.

  • Reapplication: After resigning, you may not reapply for management positions for 2 weeks.


10. Competitor Policy

To maintain the integrity of Burger Kingdom:

  • Management members may not hold management positions at competitor establishments.

  • Developers are prohibited from working with competitors to prevent script sharing.
